2009 Regional Summits
Modeled on the 2008 National Summit, the National Institute for Reproductive Health supported four Regional Summits in 2009 that brought together advocates and public officials to discuss improving reproductive health policies and programs in their cities, counties and regions.

2008 National Summit
Over 220 participants, from 35 cities attended the National Summit and follow-up Strategy Meeting in New York City, including representatives from over 100 local advocacy organizations and approximately 100 local public officials from cities across the country. Public official attendees included nine mayors, eleven senior policy staff members from mayors’ offices, ten health commissioners, ten city council members, and eight county executives.
